Marketing & Mindset in Bristol, UK
Friday 9 October 2026
9.30am–3.30pm
Manor Farm, Bristol, BS40 8BN
I have wanted to do something like this for a while.
To bring a small group of people I care about together, away from Zoom, with proper time and space to talk, think, connect and do some deeper work.
So, here is the plan.
Betty and I are bringing just 10 people together for a very special day in Bristol.
The idea is simple.
To leave in a better place than you arrived.
In your business.
In your head.
And, hopefully, in yourself.
The morning
We’ll start with a live Ideas Café.
Around a table, talking properly about what you are building, what you are thinking about, what feels stuck and what might be possible.
There will be business ideas.
Marketing ideas.
Conversations about offers, visibility, direction and opportunities.
There will be different perspectives, shared experiences and probably plenty of things you hadn’t thought of.
No slides.
No sitting silently in rows.
Just a room full of thoughtful people helping each other see things more clearly.
You should leave the morning with new ideas, greater clarity and some practical things to take back into your business.
Then we’ll stop
We’ll have lunch.
Go for a walk.
Talk to each other.
Because I think that matters too.
The afternoon
Then Betty will take us into some of the deeper work.
The beliefs we carry.
The patterns we repeat.
The experiences that have shaped us.
The things that can quietly affect how we show up in our businesses, our work, our relationships and our lives.
I have worked with Betty myself and I believe deeply in what she does.
Working on our own issues, including past trauma and firmly held internal beliefs, can help us become better doctors, better parents, better business owners and, ultimately, better versions of ourselves.
This is why I wanted to bring these two parts of the day together.
Because sometimes we need a better idea.
Sometimes we need a different perspective.
Sometimes we need to understand what is getting in our way.
And sometimes we just need to spend a day with good people who understand.
What I hope you’ll take away
Something useful for your business.
Something helpful for your mindset.
New ideas.
New connections.
A clearer sense of what comes next.
And the feeling that you are leaving in a better place than you arrived.
That really is the point of the day.
The plan
9-9.30am Arrive whenever works for you, coffee and settle in
10.00am–12.00pm Live Ideas Café hosted by Jo
12.00–1.00pm Lunch and a walk in the field
1.00–3.00pm Mindset and healing work with Betty
3.00–3.30pm Come back together and close the day
We’ll all be away by 4pm after a cuppa.Â
Just 10 places
This is deliberately small.
There are only 10 places available, and I am only sharing this with people I would genuinely love to have in the room.
ÂŁ197 (only ÂŁ97 for members of The Start Up Support Surgery Programme)Â
This isn’t about putting on a big event or making a huge profit.Â
It’s about creating a really good day, with really good people, and all of us leaving a little better than we arrived.
I would absolutely love you to join us.
