Thinking about working with me?

Thanks for stopping by.

You’re very welcome here.

Most people who arrive on this page are navigating some kind of transition.

Sometimes that looks like building a business alongside medicine.

Sometimes it’s a portfolio career, a creative idea, more flexibility, a growing sense that the traditional path no longer fits quite as neatly as it once did or simply the feeling that there might be another way of working that feels more sustainable and more you.

Some people arrive with a clear idea.

Many with many conflicting ideas spinning in their heads.

Others simply know something needs to change.

What I’ve realised over the last few years is that most people don’t necessarily need someone to “tell them what to do”.

They need thoughtful space to think clearly.

Space to explore ideas.
Build confidence.
Untangle possibilities.
Rebuild them into real life prototype business ideas.

Talk honestly.
Create momentum.
And work out what the next chapter could look like.

That’s the kind of support space I try to create.

How working with me works

I no longer offer open-access discovery calls.

Instead, this form acts as a thoughtful starting point.

A chance for me to understand:

  • where you are now
  • what you’re navigating
  • what kind of support may actually feel helpful

I read every application personally and respond thoughtfully, usually via voice note.

If it feels like a good fit, the next step is usually one of two things.

1. The Co-Thinking Power Hour Plus

A strategic thinking space for medics who need clarity, perspective and momentum. This is now replacing the old Power Hours and Clarity programme.

This includes:

  • initial prep questions
  • a 60-minute 1:1 session live on Zoom
  • personalised reflections and summary
  • a practical 30-day next steps
  • 90-day plan
  • any major issues explored further
  • check in after 2 weeks

For some people, this one conversation is enough to unlock the next stage.

2. The Start Up Support Surgery

The Start Up Support Surgery is an ongoing community, learning hub and supportive space for medics doing things differently.

Part coaching.
Part mentoring.

Part business strategy.
Part conversation.
Part visibility.

Part personal growth.
Part professional network.

It’s designed for people who want thoughtful long-term support whilst building businesses, portfolio careers, visibility and more meaningful ways of working around real life.

Some people join at the very beginning with a vague idea and a lot of uncertainty.

Others arrive with established businesses but realise they no longer want to build in isolation.

What connects people is usually not a specific niche or business model.

It’s the desire to create work and lives that feel more sustainable, more human and more aligned with who they are becoming as they shift from medics to doing things differently.

Inside the space we regularly explore things like

  • Visibility and confidence
  • Business growth and strategy
  • Communication
  • Personal brand development
  • Momentum and accountability
  • Sustainable ambition
  • Networking and collaboration
  • Mindset and self-belief
  • Navigating change and uncertainty
  • Balancing growth alongside family and real life
  • Marketing and growth

The support is intentionally long-term and relationship-led.

The minimum stay is 12 months.

It takes at least that amount of time to really grow something sustainable.

Others stay for a second year.
Others for another 6 months, some for longer.

This is because often the biggest transformations happen slowly through conversations, community, encouragement and being surrounded by other thoughtful people navigating similar questions around work, ambition and life.

Come for the strategy.
Stay for the community.

What to expect

No pressure.

No need to perform.

No need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Just thoughtful, personalised guidance to help you work out what support, if any, feels most aligned from here.

If that sounds helpful, complete the form below.

That’s the best place to start.

Jo

PS. This form isn’t a commitment to work together. It simply helps me understand your situation and see whether I can genuinely support you, and if so, how.
