Got ideas, questions or a business possibility that you can't quite untangle on your own?
Co-Thinking Clarity is a strategic thinking space for anyone who needs clarity, perspective and momentum around an idea, project or next step.
One conversation.
Four weeks to think, test and explore.
A clearer way forward.
Or permission to take a different path.
Co-Thinking Clarity gives you four weeks to step out of your own head, make sense of the ideas and possibilities competing for your attention, and work out what your next useful step actually is.
We start with some initial questions, then a 60-minute 1:1 conversation where we look at where you are now, what you're considering, what might be getting in the way and what is actually worth exploring next.
From there, youâll have four weeks to think, test and take action, with a personalised plan, carefully chosen resources and a check-in with me along the way.
I work mainly with doctors and healthcare professionals, so I understand the particular challenge of building something alongside an already very full life. But Co-Thinking Clarity is open to anyone with an idea, project or business possibility they want to think through properly.
Life-first, not hustle-first.
Practical, not overwhelming.
Enough structure to get you moving, without pretending you need to have the whole thing figured out.
Ready for a change but not sure where to start?
Youâve worked hard to build your career.
You might even still enjoy it.
But thereâs an idea, possibility or question that keeps niggling away at you.
- Frustrated that you canât help people in the way you want to
- Wanting to grow personally or professionally, but unsure what that could look like
- Unsure whether you really want to start a business or what the idea even is yet
- Worried about the time, tech, money or risk involved
- Wanting more flexibility and more control over how work fits around the rest of your life
- Stuck in âthinking about itâ mode or the âmaybe next yearâ mode and not actually moving forward
I get it.
Because Iâve been there.
And the first useful step is not having the whole thing figured out.
Itâs getting clear enough to know what to do next.
What is Co-Thinking Clarity?
A safe first step toward your next chapter
Sometimes you donât need another course, another qualification or another 47 things adding to your to-do list.
You need some space to think.
Co-Thinking Clarity is for anyone with ideas, questions or possibilities going round and round in their head who needs someone experienced to help untangle them.
You might be right at the beginning.
You might have several ideas and no idea which one to pursue.
You might already have something up and running but feel stuck on what comes next.
Or you might simply know that you want something to change.
We start with some initial conversations and then a proper 1:1 conversation.
We get everything out on the table.
What you want.
What youâve already got.
What feels possible.
Whatâs getting in the way.
What might actually work in your real life.
And then we work out the next useful step.
You donât need to leave with your entire future mapped out.
You just need enough clarity to move.
Sometimes clarity means deciding to go for it.
Sometimes it means changing the idea.
Sometimes it means putting something down altogether.
All of those are useful outcomes.
Because the aim isnât to persuade you to start a business.
Itâs to help you stop circling the question and make a clearer decision about what comes next.
You do not need to wait until you feel completely ready.
You probably never will.
You just need enough clarity to take the next step.
HOW IT WORKS
Whatâs inside Co-Thinking Clarity
One conversation.
Four weeks to think, test and explore.
Before we meet, Iâll send you some questions to get you thinking about where you are, what youâre considering and what you actually want from our time together.
Then we have a 60-minute 1:1 Co-Thinking session on Zoom.
This isnât me sitting there firing generic business advice at you.
Weâll pull apart whatever youâve brought with you.
Ideas.
Questions.
Half-formed plans.
Things youâve been avoiding.
Things youâve convinced yourself you should be doing.
And probably a few things you hadnât realised were part of the problem at all.
From that conversation, Iâll pull together my reflections and help you identify what is actually worth focusing on now.
Then you have the rest of the month to think, test, explore and DO.
Not everything.
Just the useful things.
Weâll check in again after three weeks and look at what youâve tried, what youâve learnt, whatâs changed and what your next step is.
Youâll also have access to the first three Start Up Support Surgery modules and some select Masterclasses.
1. Time, Place, People & Money
How does this actually fit into your life? Your time, energy, family, finances and the people around you matter. A lot.
2. Your Success Snapshot
What are you actually trying to create here? Not somebody elseâs version of success. Yours.
3. Ideas Builder
Your skills, experience, interests and ideas and where there might be something worth testing in the real world.
You do not need to disappear down a content rabbit hole and complete everything.
Use what is useful.
Ignore what isnât.
The resources are there to support the thinking.
Theyâre not homework.
What youâll leave with
đ By the end of the four weeks, youâll have
-
A clearer picture of what youâre actually trying to build, change or explore
-
Perspective on the ideas and possibilities competing for your attention
-
A better sense of what matters now and what can wait
-
A realistic next step plan you can actually fit into your life
-
A clearer idea of what needs testing rather than endlessly thinking about
-
More confidence in the direction youâre taking
-
A decision about what comes next, whether that means building something, changing direction or deciding not to pursue it at all
 Less circling.
 More clarity.
You donât need the perfect plan.
You just need enough clarity to move.

Why work with me?
Hi, Iâm Dr Jo Watkins, a GP, founder, business mentor, podcaster and mum of four.
Iâve built several businesses, worked with hundreds of medics and healthcare professionals, and spent years helping people take ideas out of their heads and turn them into something real.
I still work in medicine, so I understand what itâs like to build something alongside an already full life.
And I understand the medical mindset.
Weâre very good at learning.
Weâre very good at researching.
Weâre very good at collecting qualifications.
Weâre often rather less comfortable putting something imperfect into the world and seeing what happens.
Business asks us to do things medicine rarely does.
Talk about what weâre good at.
Market ourselves.
Charge money.
Test things before we know theyâll work.
Change direction without somebody handing us the curriculum.
Thatâs a big part of what I help people with.
I work mainly with doctors and healthcare professionals, but Co-Thinking Clarity is open to anyone with an idea, project or business possibility they want to think through properly.
Youâll get:
- Strategic thinking
Someone to help you cut through the noise, spot what matters and work out what your next useful step actually is. - Real-world business experience
Not just theory. Real businesses, real launches, real mistakes and plenty of figuring it out as you go. - Medic-to-medic understanding, where thatâs relevant
You donât have to explain the culture, pressure or peculiarities of healthcare before we can get started. - Proven frameworks and practical tools
Including the CHAOS Compass and other simple ways of helping you make sense of where you are and what to focus on next. -
A Life-First approach
Because success isnât just the business you build. Itâs actually all about the life you intentionally build so that you get to live alongside it.Â

Here is what clients are saying...Â
"Working with Jo helped me develop a small idea and a concept into a structured plan, website, clinic and actual business that I have created from scratch. When I started with Jo, I felt completely by myself because I wasn't unaware that there was a community of people who had similar mindset to me in regards to working as a GP but wanted to expand into different areas and subspecialty interest."
Dr. Aisling Farrell, GP, Lifestyle Medic for female athletes.
"I was looking for some clarity on what I wanted my life to look like with my usual NHS work and potentially other projects. Jo was very helpful in aiding some reflection and action points which, along with the modules, nudged me towrads a more considered and intentional work patttern."
Dr Ivan Anderson, GP and Lifestyle Medic
"The modules are gold dust, so much content allowing you to start at the right place for you. What Jo is offering has exceeded my expectations. Her knowledge, kindness, availability and experience are invaluable.
I had no idea just how much I didnât know but the insight, understanding and progress Iâve made in the last few months has been perfect and at a pace that has worked for me and all my other commitments."
Dr. Jo Hartley, Career and Life Coach and previous ED Consultant
I sought out Jo for help in business planning. Having started my business 8 months ago, I had reached the point where the initial nerves and doubts had died down and I needed to focus on growth. Jo made the session as useful as possible, ask for and digesting lots of information in advance. The session itself was brilliant and the follow up had been just a good! I have much more clarity on my overall direction, as well as precise next steps. Jo has an excellent mix of practical wisdom, whilst also giving room to working things out for yourself. Highly recommend!
Dr Luke Mitchell, Former Doctor, Financial Planner and business owner.Â
'I think you have blown my mind Jo, this is massive. I nearly dropped out and realise how much I have learnt and so glad I have stayed. The content is rich and spot on. The delivery is awesome. You are awesome. Not a dry boring moment, ever'
Portia Gibson Founder of 'Post Op Nurse'
You donât have to leave Clarity with a business plan.
Dr Henry Aughterson came to Clarity because he was exploring what might come next in his career.
He didnât immediately go on to set up a business or organisation. In fact, looking back, he says he probably wasnât ready to take it further at that point.
But that didnât make Clarity any less valuable.
âI feel like Iâve got those skills and that learning in me for life now. It helps me think with more clarity about what my next steps might be.â
The work we did around his values, his ideas and the people he might ultimately want to help has stayed with him.
He still talks about it.
He still uses it.
And this is what he said about working with me:
âI could not recommend Clarity and working with Jo more. She is so experienced and wise in this area, I donât think there is a better person out there for supporting medics in doing something a little different and more exciting with their working lives.
She is warm and kind, but also incisive and will always âcut throughâ to get to the core of what you are looking to achieve. She very much puts your best interests and values at the centre of her work with you.â
Because Co-Thinking Clarity isnât about me convincing you to start a business.
Itâs about giving you the space, questions, tools and experienced outside perspective to work out what you actually want.
You might leave ready to take an idea forward.
You might realise you need to test something first.
You might change direction completely.
Or you might decide:
Actually, not yet.
Thatâs clarity too.
Here is what the experts are saying...
Â
Â
Co-thinking Clarity is your first step.
You do not need to have the whole thing figured out.
Co-Thinking Clarity gives you a safe, structured space to think through your idea, project or next move properly â with someone who can help you cut through the noise and work out what actually matters now.
You might decide to build something.
You might decide to test an idea first.
You might change direction completely.
The aim is not to push you into business. Itâs to help you make a clearer, more informed decision about what comes next.
If youâre ready to stop circling and start working it out properly, this is where we begin.
Start with Co-Thinking Clarity.
