What is a Get Scrappy Social?

Get Scrappy Socials are relaxed, invite-only gatherings for doctors, healthcare professionals, creatives and curious professionals exploring ideas or growing life-first businesses.

Whether you’re just starting out, testing ideas or building something bold alongside a traditional role, this is your space.

This time, we’ve opened it up so it’s even easier to join:

Pay What You Want (PWYW): Minimum £10 a ticket. All profits go to our 2025 charity of choice TENOVUS, a cancer support charity based in Wales. 

• Where: Yellowave Beach House, 299 Madeira Drive, Brighton, BN2 1EN
  
• Date: Thursday, September 18th 2025 (on the evening of the first day of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine)
• Time: Drop in any time between 5:30–9:30pm to say hello. You can stay for 20 minutes or for the whole evening with like-minded people.
• Bring a friend or come alone: This is not a cliquey space. You will be welcomed if you come along and you can, of course, bring a friend.
• Dress Code: Relaxed, shorts, flip flops, glam, whatever you like
  
• Extras: Optional volleyball and sea dips, bring kit if you fancy
• Price: Pay what you want model with a minimum of £10 a ticket. All profits will be donated.
